TRACK OF THE WEEK

Zebra Katz – ISH

Along with his recent relocation to Berlin, Zebra Katz also brought with him the announcement of his debut album LESS IS MOOR, his first release in seven years following his mixtape Drklng. Meshing industrial nuances to his cutthroat rhymes and beats, the album features Shygirl, S. Ruston, sega bodega, Tony Quattro, and Torus, an array of collaborators supporting Ojay Morgan’s dissection of themes of sexuality and the Black experience while ruminating in fame and stardom. LESS IS MOOR is out on March 20th

From TOPS‘s breezy new track, ‘I Feel Alive’, to Chromatics‘ ‘very spontaneous single ‘Toy’ or Hildur Guðnadóttir‘s stunningly eerie ‘Fólk fær andlit’, this week’s Tracks Of The Week spreads through a genre diversity that pleases the ears as much it pleases the heart. Other tracks include ‘Casino Queen’, from Circuit Des Yeux’s new alias Jackie Lynn, Sacred Bones’ Hilary Woods’ ‘Tongues Of Wild Boar’, Riki’s ‘Earth Song’, new Rosalía, Doja Cat, newcomer Brooke Bentham and more!
