TRACK OF THE WEEK

Jessie Ware – Save A Kiss

With her previous album, Glasshouse, Jessie Ware digressed into a more solemn narrative, sharing her experience of motherhood, yet not being able to fully display her strengths as a pop creator. In What’s Your Pleasure? we see Ware flourish in the way we know best, combining disco, soul and her sultry voice in a dancefloor-ready collection of songs representative of her pop origins – ‘Save A Kiss’ being a prime example of pop excellence.

From Arca‘s ‘KLK’, featuring Rosalía, to Kelly Lee Owens‘s ‘On’, we’re also featuring ‘Jealous Type’ by Soft Boi and Young Ejecta‘s ‘Can I Dance With You. Elsewhere, we’re bringing you BLACKPINK‘s ‘How You Like That’, ‘Hot Mess’ by Genevieve Artadi, Oh Brother‘s ‘Running Out’, ‘JSP’ by Petit Prince, ‘My Religion Is You’ by The Flaming Lips‘ and more! From Berlin, have a listen to Garfive‘s ‘On My Way’, featuring Arno, ‘Little Spring’ by Aurea Aetas, Michael Brinkworth‘s ‘Good Old Feeling’, Aime Simone‘s ‘Everything’s Changing’ and Sofia Portanet‘s ‘I Trust’, off her upcoming debut album Freier Geist.
