“Visions has long been the total boss of London’s multi-venue festivals, breaking new acts and welcoming more established artists to good old Hackney…”
Taking place in London Fields over a number of venues on Saturday 3rd August, Visions Festival is back in full force for 2019. We’re delighted to be partnering with them again this year, even more so now their latest announcement has landed.
Okay, so Visions is partly our favourite day of the year because there’s a dog show (in association with All Dogs Matter and The Line of Best Fit). It’s also our favourite day of the year for a few other reasons but then… There’s the fact that this year’s Visions Dog Show is inspired by none other than Quentin Tarantino. Enter, PUP FICTION. It’s worth waking up on early on the Saturday for the Pulp Fiction-inspired dog costumes alone.
Cute dogs in weird clothes aside, as usual Visions Festival is set to be a day that’s packed with excellent music, delicious beer, and a host of other great stuff like Do.omyoga (the practice of Yoga to meditative doom, drone and avant-garde music), palm and tarot readers and delicious food traders including The Good Slice and Mr Pig Stuff.
Check the full lineup below, and read on for a few of our top picks for who to catch on the day.
Anna’s complex compositions merge classical and electronic ideas culminating in a breathtaking live show. Read our review of Anno here.
Abstract, freaky and club-ready rhythms from a fiery Manchester based duo.
Over bright synths that sit somewhere between pop and the dance floor, Livanskiy’s lyrics merge Russian and English. Read our review of 2019 album Your Need here.
Expect warped and futuristic club music from the south London NUXXE affiliate.
South London’s Master Peace, of Mob Set crew, will bring his unique blend of rap, grime and, in his own words, “alternative rock and surf-rock” to the fore.
