The creative alias of Toronto artist and Caribou collaborator Brad Weber, Pick A Piper’s soundscapes contain infinitely immersive and vibrant layers of electronica creating this glorious sonic cosmos that feels as if floating through a kaleidoscopic daydream. We caught up with him to get to know a little more about Pick A Piper ahead of his show at Shacklewell Arms this evening.

He recently returned with the ethereal, atmospheric single ‘Sentience’, which follows on from his 2017 record Distance. On writing this newer work Weber expresses, “I’ve been connecting more locally,” he says, “exploring the inner workings of Toronto, collaborating with new people and finding inspiration in everyday things. It helped me slow things down and look to create vast, sometimes otherworldly soundscapes.”; something which is greatly reflected in the evolution of his sound.

Ahead of his show at Shacklewell Arms this evening, get to know Pick A Piper In Short.
