Logic1000 – Perfume

Sydney-born Berliner (and ex-Londoner) Logic1000 has remixed everyone from Christine and the Queens to PC Music’s A. G. Cook, with her own music typically simmering just below the radar. In her new offering, ‘Perfume’, – “a version of the very first Logic track ever made” – we get a much-needed Logic bop that is rhythmically dense, soulful and enjoying early support from everyone from Caribou to our good selves. Her Perfume / Blossom EP is out as a white label vinyl on September 25th, but for now you can spin the former right here:

From MOTHERMARY‘s hard-hitting dark pop offering ‘Give It Up’, to a Kelly Lee Owens double feature via ‘Re-Wild’ and ‘Jeanette’, it’s a great week for new music. Be sure not to miss more Sevdaliza, Blue Hawaii and Loma, as well as the return of Fenne Lily, Róisin Murphy and Clairo. In addition to Logic1000, Berliners this week include the scene-leading Lotic, plus Sean Nicholas Savage and Ellis Frawley.
