TRACK OF THE WEEK

Σtella – The Break

It’s time to get on board with Stella with a sigma, Athens’ current synthpop sweetheart. Having just signed with Canadian label, Arbutus Records, Σtella‘s touch for catchy melodies feels like an innate talent. Having already conquered Greece, it’s only a matter of time until the rest of Europe and the world fall in love with her breezy, utterly refreshing tunes. Her new album, The Break, is out on January 24th.

From Soko‘s new track, ‘Being Sad In Not A Crime’, to BbyMutha‘s lethal ‘Scam Likely’ or Soccer Mommy‘s ‘circle the drain’, this week’s Tracks Of The Week is a special one indeed. Also included are Guest Singer, Real Estate, Magdalena Bay, Dan Deacon, Inger Nordvik and the best Berlin-based tunes brought to you by Lexodus, Highest Sea, A.S Fanning, Novaa, One Room Hotel, Kalon and Sofia Kourtesis. Same time, same place next week. Enjoy!
